On Saturday, several of our students participated in Surround the State in Song, a choral festival for students in grades 5-7. This is put on by the North Dakota chapter of the American Choral Director's Association, and takes place in cities around the state of ND. Our students learned music ahead of time, and then had an exciting day of rehearsals that led up to a concert with over 130 singers. They are already excited for next year!

JHGBB practices will begin October 17. All 6-7-8th grade girls are welcome to participate. Practices will be in Wing, with most games in Wilton. A letter will be sent home with the girls and also emailed to the parents.
Congratulations to Kari (12th) and Erin (18th) for earning All-Region today at the West Region Cross Country Championships in Standing Rock! Great job ladies!

Second and Third Graders ventured to the Wing Post Office to buy stamps and mail their letters!

There will be no admission fee for Tuesday's Pink Night volleyball game. We are suggesting a donation to help defray medical costs for Wilton Elementary Paraprofessional Angie Grossman. Angie is battling metastatic breast cancer. We will present Angie's family with all of this evening's free-will gate donations as well as the proceeds from the silent auction, bake sale, shirts, and wristbands.
One of the many great things about our teachers is their willingness to collaborate for their students. Mr. Spelhaug and Mrs. Birnbaum have created a pathway for our 6th grade music students to participate in individual music lessons during STEM class.
