Southern McLean homecoming royalty at the pep rally and football game
Good morning! With the number of schedule changes for today we realize it has changed some plans for families. If you need to pick up your child in Washburn, be sure you contact administration and your child's bus driver.

The Southern McLean football game tomorrow will be starting at 5:00pm tomorrow night.
The Washburn, Wilton, and Wing Homecoming Court will be announced starting at 6:40 pm before Friday's game!
Fox Den ND Studies took a "field trip" today. Hmm... I wonder what cattails have to do with the early frontier era of North Dakota? I'm guessing we'll find out.
In the mean time, look out for a bumper crop at the edge of town next summer since this time of year, they are extremely fun to break apart and we all know what that means! 😆
HOMECOMING UPDATE!
Washburn has changed the times for the Homecoming Pep Rally and Parade. The Pep Rally will begin at 1:15 and the Parade will follow at approximately 2:00.

STEM class spent the week designing and building towers out of recyclable materials to learn about structures. the winning tower finished at 95 inches!
The Donut Gang is back! When this year's One Act rehearsals have begun, and about once a week our rehearsals include donuts! This year's comedy, "Help Desk," is a series of conversations between people calling for help, who sometimes discover that the people answering the phone need even more help. We'll stage a local production in early November in preparation for our regional competition Nov. 8.
On Monday, the 7th-12th graders learned about 9/11 in their history classes. The student's created a craft to honor those impacted by the events on 9/11.
Tomorrow Sept. 14th we will be presenting our WPS Homecoming King and Queen at 2:00 pm in the gym!
