On Saturday, Feb. 11, Wing's Speech Team members attended their first meet of the season, at which Ty Mehlhoff took 4th place in "Extemporaneous Speech." The meet, hosted by St. Mary's High School, was held at two locations, Mandan High School and Shiloh High School, Bismarck. Our Wing team competed in Mandan. Shane Biberdorf competed in the category, "Speech to Entertain." At our next meet, to be held in Hazen on President's Day, Ty and Shane will also compete in "Humorous Duo."

In Study Skills, 8th graders are learning financial skills! They are going through a real world simulation learning how to save while shopping, different payment methods, investments, starting a business, and saving for the future.



Nine 7th & 8th graders represented Wing in the regional MathCounts Competition. Great job Wildcats!
