Todays JHBBB game has been cancelled due to weather
"Yes, We Can," and "Yes, We Did!" At the President's Day speech meet in Washburn, Ty Mehlhoff (right) took 1st Place (and became a State Qualifier for the ND State Speech Meet) in Improvisational Speaking. Shane Biberdorf (left) competed in Speech to Entertain. Shane and Ty also competed as a team in Humorous Duo. As well, both threw their hats in the ring for a 3rd event each--Shane in Extemporaneous, and Ty in Speech to Entertain--which made for a busy day for both Wing competitors. Both will compete again this Saturday at the Hazen speech meet.
Congrats to these students who were selected for Student of the Month!
Students enjoyed learning about the indigenous culture through crafts during parent teacher conferences!

On Saturday, Feb. 11, Wing's Speech Team members attended their first meet of the season, at which Ty Mehlhoff took 4th place in "Extemporaneous Speech." The meet, hosted by St. Mary's High School, was held at two locations, Mandan High School and Shiloh High School, Bismarck. Our Wing team competed in Mandan. Shane Biberdorf competed in the category, "Speech to Entertain." At our next meet, to be held in Hazen on President's Day, Ty and Shane will also compete in "Humorous Duo."
