Believe it or not, but the Elementary Christmas Program is coming up on December 2nd. This information went home with your students today, but I didn’t realize until after they went out that there are two dates listed on the informational flyer. The program will be on DECEMBER 2ND at 5:30 pm. I also included the treat schedule as well. The music boosters would greatly appreciate any help you can give.

Sociology class learned about the development of social groups and their impact on individual personalities. Each student was expected to analyze the individuals and social groups in a movie of their choice. Check out the sites!

5th and 6th grade students created world maps using food to show the routes of early explorers. To sail on these routes, they each created a ship with a treasure chest full of new technologies needed for such a long journey. If you see them in the hallway, ask if they were a Portugese, Spanish, or Viking explorer!

Awesome job to the elementary students for reaching their reading goals in October and earning a book to take home.

Awesome job to the elementary students for reaching their reading goals in October and earning a book to take home.

Good morning Wildcat families! We wanted to take this opportunity to review some attendance procedures with you all. Administration is doing what we can to ensure that all of our students are maintaining excellent attendance. One way we are doing this is by pushing out notifications to parents of students who have an unexcused absence. These messages will go out to parents each morning if their child has an unexcused absence. An absence is deemed unexcused if the parent/guardian has not called on the school on behalf of the student. Mrs. Lyngaas is tracking the elementary students and Ms. Kramer is tracking the junior high and high school students. Teachers are required to take attendance right away each morning and to maintain adequate attendance records. Parents and guardians can also check attendance in Power School when checking students' grades. The North Dakota Century Code mandates that all parents/guardians are reponsible for ensuring that students age 6-17 attend school and maintain good attendance. The NDCC also holds schools accountable for ensuring that parents/guardians are abiding by this. Students who attend school regularly are able to learn more, have fewer discipline problems, develop better study habits and often are more successful than students who do not. If you child must miss school it is necessary that you call the school right away in the morning. Thank you and remember, it's always a great day to be a Wing Wildcat!!
