Today students in grades 9-12 listed to a presentation on ND Vision Zero. They also watched a video and listened to the story of Taylor Berhow, who was convicted in a drunk driving accident that killed three of his best friends Halloween weekend 2011 in Mandan. We hope that parents/guardians will ask their kids questions about the presentation as well as talk with them about not only not driving under the influence, but making responsible decisions when behind the wheel.

Starting tomorrow parents and guardians will receive an alert if your student is marked absent. If you receive an alert that is inaccurate please contact the school so we can resolve the issue. Alerts will be sent for all marked absences, even if you have already contacted the school. This is a new feature we will be using so please notify us when needed!
Don't forget! Tonight at 7:30 pm is our Fall Concert. Come see how hard our 7-12 band and choir have been working. Light refreshments and a free will donation to benefit the Wing Music Boosters will follow.

On Saturday, 3 of our students (Nora, Dallas, and Kaylor) attended Surround the State in Song in Bismarck. They spent all day Saturday singing with over 100 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students from around the Bismarck area. They had a wonderful time and they represented our school very well too. Great job!
Red Ribbon Week is next week October 25th-29th! Red Ribbon Week was developed in 1988 to promote an awareness of the dangers of alcohol and other drugs.
Below are the dress up days for next week and we will also be having activities to educate our students to make healthy choices!
In just one week we will have our first concert of the year. The 7-12 band and choir have been working hard and are ready to show off what they have been working on. We will be performing at 7:30 pm on October 25th. Students should be here before 7:00 pm.
We are also bringing back our post concert refreshments. There will be a free will donation to benefit the Wing Music Boosters. I have attached a treat donation schedule. We would appreciate all the help you can give.

First of all we would like to thank everyone who came to conferences last night! We had 77% of our students have at least 1 parent or guardian attend conferences on their behalf. That is great!
Second, thank you to the families who got their students to Focus Friday today, most of the kids who were recommended to attend showed up. Thank you and have a great weekend!!!
