The WPS Science Dept. was awarded the North Dakota Department of Agriculture grant for a "Gardyn Hydroponic Tower."Students will use this project based curriculum for our Biology course. Students will also see where they can supply the community with the various products!!!




Our 7th/8th grade math students used indirect measure and similar triangles to find the height of the glass window above the gym door.

JoAnn's route may be running a little behind schedule this morning.

Wing began the Speech season in a big way on Saturday, Jan. 27. Ty Mehlhoff came home with two awards--1st Place in Speech to Persuade and 2nd Place in Impromptu Speech--at the HMB (Hazelton/Moffit/Braddock) Speech Meet. Next Saturday, Wing Speech will be at the Hazen for its annual speech meet.


6th grade science students studying "sound" unit and using a free online program to engineer their own song loops! Students will present their creative work to each other tomorrow!





Senior Spotlight: Ty Mehlhoff
Activities: cross country, track, speech, writing club, robotics, football, 4-H, band, choir, honor society, FFA, and drama.
Favorite class: psychology.
What I will miss about school: friends.
Plans after graduation: Do something with philosophy.




Congratulations to our junior and senior high acalympics team. These students were selected by teachers and administration based on academic ability and work ethic. They will compete at the Regional Acalympic meet in Linton on March 12.

Thursday boys basketball games will begin at 4:00 with a C game. This will be followed by JV and varsity. Wilton Wilton vs Garrison. BEK will broadcast the varsity game.

Reminder that juniors will take the ASVAB assessment this Wednesday, January 17, 2024. The test will start at 8:20. All juniors should by at the school no later than 8:10.
