Don't forget back to school night is this Thursday from 5:00-6:30. There will be inflatables for the elementary students and door prizes for the secondary students. There will be short presentations for the following groups: incoming 6th graders and parents at 5:15; incoming 9th graders and parents at 5:30; and any interested 9-12th graders and parents at 5:30 with questions regarding graduation and scholarship requirements. Come out and meet the new teachers and say hello to the returning staff. We can't wait to see all of you!
Students in grades 6-12: these three $20 gift cards will be given away to three lucky winners who attend the back to school event on Thursday from 5-6:30!
The sports bus will be leaving Wing, Monday-Thursday, at 2:45. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Horner at alex.horner@k12.nd.us
Breakfast will be served from 8:05 - 8:15 am. Buses will continue to arrive at the school by 8:00 am . The buses will arrive at their regularly scheduled time and will not have to pick up students earlier due to breakfast. Thank you in advance for your patience as we try something new for our students this year!
Students and parents in grades 6-12, access to PowerSchool is now available. You may now view your schedule. Please contact Ms. Kramer if you have any questions or if changes need to be made.

Season passes for the 2023 -2024 Wilton-Wing Miners 2023-2024 season can be purchased from Becky at the open house. You may also purchase them from the Wing school office during business hours. The prices for the year are: $40 for a student pass, $50 for an adult pass, senior/veteran pass: $30, family pass: $140.00 (college students are included in the family pass). Individual ticket prices are as follows: Students $4, adult: $6; senior/vet: $5. Passes are good for all Wilton-Wing Miners regular season home games.

The mandatory football meeting for those interested in grades 7-12 has been moved to inside the Washburn School. Meeting will take place in the Old Gym. Please use door #4 (elementary office, southwest) to enter the school.
Our back -to-school event is Thursday, August 17th from 5:00 - 6:30. Please join us in meeting new teachers and saying hi to the familiar faces. There will be inflatables for the elementary kids. There will be a drawing for door prizes for students in grades 6-12 who attend.
Informational sessions will be held for the following groups:
- Incoming 6th graders & families - what to expect in junior high, classes, lockers, and other things at 5:15
- Incoming 9th graders and families - classes, credits, graduation requirements,
Choice Ready and other topics at 5:30
- Incoming 9th -12 graders - informational session on the North Dakota Scholarship for those who are interested. Incoming seniors, there will be information on the Academice/CTE scholarship option also. This will begin immediately after the 9th grade session.
Supper will be served 5:30 -6:30.

The first day of school is August 22, 2023! We are looking forward to another great year and welcoming back our students and meeting new families. If you are new to Wing please call or stop by the school to get registered if you haven't done so yet. The school office hours are back to normal business hours 8:00 -3:45 starting August 1.

A mandatory parent-player football meeting will be held tomorrow Tuesday, August 1 at 7:30pm for anyone entering grades 7-12 that are interested in playing this fall. NEW DATE: The sports meeting for parents and players has been changed from August 14 to August 15. Please mark your calendar.
Our junior -senior high school teachers have been hard at work the past two days working on curriculum and standards alignment.
Our office will be closed Thursday and Friday of this week, July 27th and 28th as the main office is being cleaned and prepared for the new school year.
Thank you to our 4th, 5th, and 6th graders that were able to make camp the last two days! They worked hard during the drills that taught them offense and defense skills needed for the game of football. It was also great to see our varsity players be positive role models through coaching and interacting with the youth. It was a fun filled camp and we are all looking forward to the season!
