Vision and Hearing screenings are taking place today, November 15th. Elementary parents, check your e-mail for more information or see the attachment below. If you would like to opt your student out of the screenings, please e-mail Mrs. Lyngaas by 10:30am.
2nd and 3rd graders made food chains for their science project this month. They have spent part of last month and the beginning of this month talking about food chains in science.

A couple of announcements for today. Our Veteran's Day ceremony will be at 2 pm today. Our high school band and choir will perform first as our JH girls' basektball team will leave at 2:30 for their basketball game.

Regional One Acts competition took place today in Hazen. Though we had to leave before results were announced due to weather, tonight we received some great news. Wing's performance of "Bad Auditions by Bad Actors" improved our One Act ranking! Our Wing crew placed 6th (out of 9). It was especially fun to see how the audience loved our performance.
That's not all. Two Wing actors received special individual awards from the judges. Trayton Bauer was awarded a Superior Rating, and Landon Anderson was awarded an Honorable Mention. The entire crew did a bang-up job. What a great acting ensemble.
Congratulations to the whole team: Makennah Fischer & Grace Mehlhoff (11th); Landon Anderson (10th); Trayton Bauer, Savannah Fischer, Lacey Francis, Megan Hertz, MaKenna Meier and Hudson Wolff (8th).

Due to the impending snow and wind warnings, there will not be school tomorrow, November 10, 2022. Our make up day for this will be January 27, 2023. This was originally scheduled as a Focus Friday. It will now be a regular school day.

The season didn’t end the way we wanted it to, but the girls never gave up fought through to the end. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of girls to start off my coaching career. Seniors-thanks for everything you’ve dedicated to this sport and for always being leaders to underclassmen. You’ll be missed next year!

Today we had a special guest at our school. Our state Senator Jerry Klein (Fessenden) came and visited our school today.
With elections coming up, Seniors and Juniors took a deep dive into their political beliefs. They took a quiz to form their own opinion about hot topics and determine which politicians they aligned with the most.
