Pre-k/k have spent the last week working on the life cycles of many animals!! If you see one of the students ask them to tell you about the frog, butterfly, or chicken life cycle. Here they are showing off their frog life cycle headbands!

Reminder: Conferences are occurring this Thursday, October 14th, from 3:30 pm-9:00 pm. Elementary parents and guardians, please call the school to schedule a time. Report cards will not be printed for conferences. Instead, you can log into Powerschool to view the most up-to-date version of your students' grades! Wing Families - This Friday is a Focus Friday, which means no school except for those students attending the Focus Friday. Buses and lunch will not be provided. A snack will be provided. Focus Friday is from 9 am - 12 pm. We will send out an alert with this reminder as well. If you do not receive the alert via phone, text, or email, please contact the school so we can get your information updated.
JH GBB practices start tomorrow, October 13th. First practice is in Wing from 3:30-5:30.
Elementary students practiced their overhand throwing/under hand tossing in PE today.
Middle and High School students continued our yard games unit with ladder golf.


Have you ever actually read your history books? Have you ever noticed the pattern of the types of people taught in history books? In Ms. Sjursen's class, all students were asked to flip through their books and write down the names of men and women taught. The picture below shows the number of men vs. women represented in history. To help fill the balance, students were asked to research historically significant women, such as Pocahontas seen below.
