Southern McLean Football is selling discount cards as a fundraiser. Discount cards have deals that can be used at businesses in Washburn, Wilton, and Bismarck along with some discounts through national brands. Small change for the Football busing schedule. On Thursday, August 5th the bus will leave at 3:30 so athletes are able to get to Washburn in time for the impact concussion testing. Please make sure you are ready to go with everything you need for practice!
Reminder that Football starts this Thursday, August 5th.
Bus will be leaving Wing at the following times for practice:
8/5- 4:15
8/6- 4:15
8/7- 7:00 a.m.
8/9- 4:15
8/10- 4:15
8/11- 4:15
8/12- TBD (Scrimmage vs Nedrose)
8/13- 7:00 a.m.
8/16- 2:45
8/18- 2:45
Once school starts, the bus will be leaving at 2:45.
Please make sure you are early and have everything you need for practice!

Parents who are planning on enrolling students into pre-k or who are new to the district, you must provide us with a copy of the student's birth certificate and updated immunization records. Back -to-school night is Tuesday, August 17th at 5:30 and the first day of school is August 19th. We can't wait to see you all!
What a fun filled 3 days of football camp! The kids were introduced to skills at all positions on offense and defense while being able to compete through flag football and a punt,pass, & kick competition each day. Thank you for all those who attended. It’s going to be a great fall of football for Southern McLean!
There is a mandatory parent & player meeting for Southern McLean football grades 9-12 Tuesday August 3rd at 7pm. The meeting will take place at Washburn High School in the old gymnasium. If you have any questions or concerns please inform Coach Eriksson eriksson.beau@gmail.com
Southern McLean XC will start on August 9th at 8:00 am. Boys and girls in grades 7-12 should meet in the hallway by the new gym.
You will need to bring the following to practice:
Water bottle
Watch for running
Good pair of running shoes
AND signed physical.
Here is the school supply list for grades 7-12. If your student is taking an ITV or on-line class, he or she may have additional requirements for those classes. We will do our best to have the ITV class supplies located at the school for those students.
Reminder that Youth and Junior High football camp is Monday through Wednesday. Youth camp is 1-3. Junior High camp is 3:30-5:30. Junior High players attending camp can get equipment starting at 2:45 on Monday. Players from Wilton and Wing are responsible for getting to camp on there own as there is no transportation through the school. Please bring a water bottle as well. 2021 Roughrider Football Schedule
What a fantastic last 3 days for the Roughrider Football Program! We had close to 30 high school players come to camp to improve at the game and to have some fun! All these kids got to work on agility, offensive and defensive position skills, and the chance to compete through flag football and punt, pass, and kick. The coaches want to extend our appreciation to the kids that attended camp for making this camp work with their busy summer schedules and the great effort and positive attitudes they brought! We can’t wait to see all the success the season has in store for the Roughriders. Only 20 days until practice #1!
Congratulations to Hannah on signing her letter of intent today to play softball at BSC this year. Way to go Hannah! We are proud of you! Go Mystics!!
