Good evening everyone,
I have received some questions regarding masks so I wanted to get out the necessary information before school tomorrow.
Starting tomorrow we will move forward with the following mask protocols:
1) Everyone must wear masks on all school vehicles.
2) Everyone must wear masks during all transition times. This also includes any time a student, a group of students, or the entire class is outside of the classroom.
3) When students are in the classroom masks will be required when social distancing is not possible. This includes music and PE class. Socially distanced means that all individuals in the classroom are six feet apart from one another.
4) Staff will be required to wear masks when they are in common areas and in their classrooms when social distancing is not possible.
When we have a situation in which we have to contact trace, we must look at if those involved were wearing masks and if they were not wewaring masks, if they were socially distanced . This can mean the difference between keeping kids and staff in school and sending them home to quarantine. My ultimate goal is to keep our kids and staff in school and to keep our activities going.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Thank you,
Ms. Kramer

Just a friendly reminder that there is no school tomorrow in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Because there is no school tomorrow, there will be school this Friday, January 22.

Hello Wing Families!
I just wanted to put out some information regarding our programming tomorrow. Parents and guardians of students who are being required to attend school on Friday have already been notified. School will run from 9-12. We will be providing busing for those students also.
Also, just a friendly reminder that there is no school this coming Monday, January 18 in observance of MLK Jr.
Lastly, thank you for your cooperation with us on our decision to not run buses today. These decisions are usually not ovious ones to make. The safety of our students is always a top priorty. We'd like to give a shout out to the families who got their kids in to school and to those kids who participated in class online today.
Have a great day and stay warm!
Ms. Kramer

Good morning everyone. Due to high winds and icy road conditions we will not run buses today. We will still have school but there will not be buses. If your child is not in school because of this their absence will be excused.

While our students have a day off our teachers are hard at it. Today they are going through professional development on how we can best get each student what they need to be successful. #everykideveryday

Hello everyone! I have attached a copy of our calendar for the remainder of the year. . If a Friday is labeled as independent study then students in grades PK-8 whose parents/guardians received a letter stating their student must attend school on Fridays must attend school on those days from 9 am - 12 pm. Additionally, any student in grades 7-12 who have a current grade of a D or below must attend school on those Fridays. Busing and sack lunches will be provided. Here is a link to the calendar. https://5il.co/l7o4

Just a reminder that there is no school this Friday, January 8th as it is a professional development day for our teachers. This means there are no class or attendance requirements for our students this Friday.

Just a reminder we are back in school tomorrow. We can’t wait to see everyone!!

Well we are officially on Christmas vacation!! We return to school on January 4th, 2021. It’s been a fast but great first half of the school year. Have a great holiday break!!!

Tonight at 7:30 is our High School Christmas Concert. A couple of reminders for you:
Families are limited to 2 tickets.
Masks are required for all visitors.
The concert will be livestreaming on our Facebook page.
Thank you in advance for your help in making this happen. We are incredibly lucky to be able to have an in person concert right now and I am very grateful for everything that you are doing to make that happen.

It looks as if winter is finally here. While we don’t have a lot of snow it’s cold and supposed to be even colder tomorrow morning. It’s so important that all of our kids have appropriate winter clothing for outside and for the ride to and from school.
Thank you, Ms. Kramer and Ms. Ziesch

I forgot to get a picture, but I just dropped off three big tubs full of our Angel Tree donationns to the Salvation Army The clothes and toys you donated will go to families in need on Christmas. They were very happy to see all that we were able to give Thanks to everyone who donated!

Our 7-12 Christmas Concert is scheduled for Monday December 14th at 7:30 pm. As of right now, we are planning on keeping that schedule. Each family will be allowed two (2) tickets for the concert. We will livestream it to the Facebook page for those who are unable to attend.
Also, I am hoping to get a treat plate sent home for the band/choir students again. I am attaching the treat schedule for this year. Parents of students with the last name M-J are being asked to donate treats for the kids. As always this is not mandatory. You are also free to donate if you are not listed.
We have been working hard to bring a little holiday cheer to each of you and, to be honest, some for ourselves too. We hope you will be able to join us.
Stay tuned for any changes, we all know this could all change tomorrow.
